We thrift yarn & sweaters, unravel them stitch by stitch, and make something new, by hand, with intention, and with a healthy dash of magic.
Every piece we sell started as something forgotten….Now it's yours.
Beaches. Rivers. Burn piles. Landfills that never stop growing. The fashion industry produces more textile waste than most people want to think about, and most of it doesn't disappear. It just moves somewhere we don't have to look at it anymore.
This is where clothes go when we're done with them.
This year, Reanimate Threads has pulled 20 lbs of fiber out of that pipeline. Not a lot in the grand scheme of things. We know that. But it's 20 lbs of sweaters that got unraveled instead of incinerated. 20 lbs of yarn that became something someone will actually use. 20 lbs that didn't end up here.
Every skein matters. Every piece we make is proof that it does.

All Sales Final Every piece in the Reanimate Threads shop is made by hand from reclaimed one-of-a-kind fiber. Because no two skeins are ever alike we are not able to accept returns or exchanges for any reason. Please read product descriptions carefully before purchasing. If you have questions about a specific item, fiber content, sizing, colorway, or anything else — reach out before you buy. We are happy to help.
Damaged Items:
If your order arrives damaged, we will replace it. Full stop. Please contact us within 30 days of receiving your package with a photo of the damage and your order details and we will get a replacement made and shipped to you as quickly as possible.
Lost Packages:
If your package is marked as delivered but never arrived, or has not moved in tracking for an unreasonable amount of time, contact us within 30 days of your expected delivery date. We will investigate with the carrier and, if the package is confirmed lost, issue you a store credit for the full value of your order.

Online orders have a typical processing time of 3-5 days before shipping. Shipping times will vary based on the option you select at checkout. We typically ship out once a week.
