Frequently asked questions.
Who are you, exactly?
I’m Bettie Rage, your favorite nerdy goth mom, brand manager, TTRPG chaos mistress, and full-time spellcaster of sarcasm. I run Lashes & Lore on YouTube, Welcome to Mom’s Table for D&D beginners, and freelance as a brand manager and marketing strategist for creators and companies across gaming, entertainment, and lifestyle.
What is Lashes & Lore?
It’s my long-form YouTube series where gothic glam/beauty collides with geeky deep dives. I break down D&D lore with humor, drama, sarcasm, and a smokey eye, because eyeliner and eldritch horrors deserve equal attention.
What is Welcome to Mom’s Table?
It’s my series for new and nervous D&D players. Think of it as your no-gatekeeping crash course in how to sit at the table, roll some dice, and have fun without worrying about being “good enough.” Because D&D is for everyone, and you’re always welcome at my table.
Do you take on freelance clients?
Yes! I work with creators, studios, and publishers on brand management, digital marketing, copywriting, and social media strategy. Past clients include the Dungeon Dudes, Anjali Bhimani, and Snowbright Studios. You can check out my services or reach out directly at Contact Page.
Can I hire you to manage my social media?
If your brand lives at the crossroads of geek culture, gaming, entertainment, or lifestyle, yes, let’s talk. I create strategy, content, campaigns, and analytics reporting, and I can also help with partnerships and brand deals. Whether you’re looking for some consulting or a partner in digital content chaos, I’m here for you.
Do you go to conventions?
Yes, I attend conventions as both a creator and professional. Sometimes I’m on panels, sometimes I’m backstage helping my clients shine, and sometimes I’m just in the expo hall buying dice I absolutely don’t need.
What if I just want to hang out with the community?
You’re welcome anytime! Join the conversation on YouTube, my FREE Patreon, or socials, whether you’re here for lore, laughs, or life advice. My spaces are inclusive, welcoming, and gatekeeping-free. So, come tell me about your day, I’ll make you a cup of tea.
Why the “nerdy goth mom” thing?
Because every adventurer deserves someone who’ll hype them up, offer them snacks, and give them unsolicited life advice, while looking fabulous in black.
